Down Syndrome Innovations Office, 5960 Dearborn Street, Mission, KS, 66202, United States.

Join other parents of 0-2 year olds with Down syndrome on Saturday, August 14, 20210 from 9 AM -11 AM for a great morning of networking and sharing questions, fears, success stories, and resources. We know that starting on your parenting jounrey with a baby with Down syndrome can be like drinking water from a fire hose. This casual morning with other parents in the same boat as you along with a few seasoned parents who have been there and done that are here to provide support, and relieve some of that pressure you may be feeling when it comes to your new little one.

This gathering is also for extended family members (16+ years of age);; Grandma, Grandpa, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins who have questions about language to use, what to do when asked about their newest family member, and how they can offer support to mom and dad.

Coffee service provided. No childcare available. Please RSVP by August 12th. If you have any questions please call 913-384-9898 or e-mail us at amy@kcdsi.org
